Create Change_Richmond
Our Mission
Create Change Richmond was established to raise money to help girls in Ghana reach their education potential as well as providing them with daily life necessities. These challenges that girls in Ghana are facing are not only happening in Ghana, or particularly Africa; but, anywhere around the world, where there are poverty and war.
We are lucky to live in a peaceful and fulfilling life, to not suffer from poverty or to survive through the fear of war; that’s why we believe we should start to give back to the world what we had received. We are not only making change to their education, but we are opening a different path for their futures, where they can see themselves as who they want to be.

Hi everyone, I'm Caleara Mai, a grade 10 student at Richmond Secondary School and also the leader of Create Change RHS. I had always believe in the power that education can influence our world and in the equality that everyone should deserve to have. A year ago, I could never think that I can really take the courage to open a project that can impact people's lives and follow what I believe in. I would never regret the moment when I took that big leap and really hope to bring more goods to live with my team and will influent people like you, to take actions.

Hi, my name is Chantal Lee and I'm a grade 10 student studying at Richmond Secondary School. I'm a firm believer that everyone deserves an equal chance for education. Education should not be a privilege. It should be something accessible to everyone, no matter race, gender or demonym. I hope to empower other girls through this project and let them realize that they have as much potential as us to become successful.

Hi, I'm Inshal Kabeer and I'm the vice president for Create Change RHS. I joined this project because I believe in the power education has to change girls' lives. Everybody should have the power to change their lives for the better, regardless of their gender. Create Change is one way for me to stand up for what I believe in, and also a way for me to gain experience at leadership along the way. Thank you for joining our campaign.
"Girls are strong, brave and beautiful. But without the proper resources, and the proper education, some can't reach their full potential. We're here to make sure they do." - Inshal K.

Hey everyone! My name is Taima Gheriani and I am currently in Grade 10 at Richmond High. From a young age, I strongly believed in the value that every girl deserves her education, freedom, and basic necessities no matter the circumstances. The reason I joined this club is to witness the strong belief that there is still good in this world and that people are willing to help those who deserve their rights. I’m really excited to learn from this experience and meet you all!
